ABOUT THIS PROJECT

We are very separated from sacredness in the modern world. Many of us don’t trust our spiritual impulses. This project aims to help people reconnect with their spirituality gently, thoughtfully, and with limited influence from the digital world.

I want to give you new sources of inspiration, comfort, and excitement to your spiritual practices, whatever they may be, by creating personalized jars filled with hand-curated spiritual objects and relics.

I will start by looking at your astrological chart and your Human Design. After getting the basic lay of the land, I will pull on my personal knowledge and intuitive alignment to select objects, plants, herbs, and tokens for your jar that you can use as you see fit.

All objects are found out of my real world (that is, never in bulk or from an online shop). From plants in my garden that I dry out, to bones I find on the beach, to beads I buy at a market. Additionally, all of my jars are upcycled from my friends, neighbors, or thrift shops. Most plants will be locally sourced, and all spiritual objects will be ethically sourced and cleansed properly before shipping.

ABOUT THE CURATOR

My name is Amanda Fawcett. I am a writer, designer, photography, and technical communicator. I live in Seattle, WA, with my fiance and our two cats, Early and Pia. I work a corporate job and I am currently exploring side projects.

I have always been sensitive spiritually, and I was raised in a fundamentalist christian church. To survive, I learned how to bury my spirit and impulses. For many years, I stagnated in emotional growth because I ignored those spiritual wounds.

Now, having faced the beast and helped it to shut its jaws gently, I want to help others find their spiritual sparks, agnostic of any belief system or dogma. I simply want to create more spirit, more touch points, more moments of magic for anyone who is inviting it in.

I’ve always been a collector. I have a gift for observing and a creative impulse to collect and gather. I am an excellent synthesizer, researcher, and and analyst. MORE HERE
